Winemaker Matthieu Pichenot and Bodega Biniagual motto is: “Good wine is made on the fields, not in the winery”. The heart of the winery in Biniagual is the Bodega, the wine cellar. The winery with 34 hectares acreage on Mallorca follows the strict rules of an integrated agriculture that is entirely focused towards sustainability. They use only use native vine varieties like the indigenous Mato Negro (red) and Prensal Blanc (white). And they can also blend it with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Muscat to four different red wines, one white and one rosé wine. Winemaker Toni Gelabert is a self-taught winemaker whose guiding principle is to recreate a truly qualitative and typical wine production. Vins Toni Gelabert has 5.5 hectares Bodega in the eastern part of Mallorca. They have been working biodynamically for almost 20 years. Winemaker Miquel Gelabert combines traditional techniques of the old wine growers with modern technology. In order to bring out the best in his different 30 grape varieties and produce wines with personality and a unique character. They have received over ninety awards in the last 10 years, a number of Spanish and international awards. Their mission is to create high-quality wines in a natural way and with traditional cultivation methods.
