Director Andrés Negre and winemaker Joan Gutiérrez are in the team at Santa Catarina in Sencelles that currently are in the process of planning its own rebirth with enormous effort, high hopes and great passion. A Swedish entrepreneur, Stellan Lundqvist, founded Santa Catarina in 1984. Santa Catarina decided to stop its wine production in 2002. In 2014, Stellan Lundqvist’s family made the decision to produce their own wines again. With the idea of starting viticulture again, it was a groundbreaking, different project. Let´s meet Andrés and Joan and hear more about how they started again, with an exciting project that wthey hope will match what Stellan once founded.
